Yes folks - it's that time of year again when the understairs cupboard door has finally burst open under the strain, and you've realised how much crap you've got to get rid off.

That's why YOB are having a Garage Sale!

Bring all your unwanted bric-a-brac along to our gig at the Garage, Highbury Corner this Thursday 13th July at 9pm, and we can all do swapsies! Hurrah!

If anyone's got a Remington Fuzz-away, please let us know in advance, as Justin's stage jacket is getting a little bobbley...

Good to see ya'll last night down at Nambu-ca-ca-ca-ca.
We had a great time - although it was well past all our bedtimes by the time we got on stage. Sorry 'bout that for all you people with proper jobs...

Anyhow, now we've got another gig- this Sunday 21st May at The Bullet Bar, Kentish Town. We think we're on at about 9pm, but you never know eh!

Big thank you to all of you who came out last night to see us at the Dublin Castle and made it such a great night. There was a great vibe in the room from all you nutters and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Big up yourselves, as they say in the trade...

A special note of thanks to Sleaze and his crew for making it all the way down from Birmingham and being so enthusiastic - that's what we need! Likewise to the unstoppable Charlie Chog, whose Thursday Eve club night is held on 19th April 2006 at Madame JoJo's - live bands and everything!

Another big shout to Fuzz for doing such a great job on the sound - we hope they get to the bottom of that trip switch problem in the bar for you...

So 10:4 good buddies till we see you again - which if you can't remember is at Nambucca (Holloway Road) on Thursday May 18th 2006. Stick it in your diarrheas!

.....bloody chill out.....not much chance to do anything else in London at the moment is there??? So we'd like to thank all of you who managed to find a coat warm enough last Thursday to enable you to witness......

1) The unveiling of the YoB banner.

2) Fazza's "interaction" with the audience (or just that guy who looked like he really wished he'd stayed still for the end of the set).

3) Eve'll teetering on the brink of disaster, or ...er... the edge of a very small stage.

3) Ooh, we've just done that one.

4) Fazza repremanding Justin for not joining in with "Rock Freeze" and making him do it all on his own. Naughty boy!

5) 2 new songs!!!

6) 2 NEW SONGS!!!

The Rolling Stones are a great band , Granted playing to 2 million
people in Rio, yeah yeah yeah huh.
BUT-are they happy?
YOB- the other greatest band in history
are about to embark on there wirlwind appearances of grotty
clubs and toilet venues in britain.
in years to come people will ask-'where were you the night yob,
played to 200 people in london'?
We are back!
After taking time out to record new material we will be unleashing
the dragon with some new thongs.
We will be presenting"Troubled Boys" and
"Here comes The Youth Of Britain''

Youth of Britain Go Large...

...No you muppets we haven't put on a lot of weight and we haven't bought a load of crap burger meals either....we are however going large in the out and about sense...you can catch us doing a couple of gigs in the next few weeks the first of which is at The Spitz in London. So dust off your burberry (does anyone still wear it these days?)and get down there on Sunday 5th March and marvel at some new songs and several other great acts participating in Art Music Politic's night which aims to put the FUN back into fund raiser...well it will if we have anything to do with it eh?

....but we're keeping our cards colse to our chests for the moment. Last night's rehearsal was mainly concentrated on one of Fazza's songs, "Trouble Boys". It was sounding pretty good by the time we left and there is talk of a release...... as they say.....watch this space for more info.

First Rehearsal of the New Year.....

.....and didn't go well??? Ian has been given a lovely new hat by DJ Chubb, I think it's made of pure synthetic whale blubber and it wobbles when he drums too quickly and therefore keeps him in absolute metronomic time (as opposed to GMT).
Fazza brought in a couple of new songs for us to destroy in only the way we could.
Eve'll looks refreshed after the Xmas break, well....I think he may have had his coat dry-cleaned or something, although as he never takes it off one does wonder how much the bill was? I, spent a lot of time re-learning my rock freezes for the new shows later this year and Dan was out foraging in the industry jungle looking for nuts and berries to build our energy up to the highest level for this year. (I'm not sure if that last sentence was meant to be metophorical or not, he hasn't returned yet but I'll let you know if we have a surplus of blackberry and/or hazelnuts when he does).

......well, we had to get some Christmas money from somewhere to buy each other some presents didn't we?

Eve'll needs a new coat, I'm running out of mascara, Ian needs a new holding tank for his ever expanding mackrel collection, Dan needs cosmetic surgery on his button pushing finger as he's worn it down over the last year and Fazza has his eye on a lovely pre-owned shell suit in the window display of our local charity shop..... it wouldn't be fair to say "no" would it?

Go on, it would make a great water feature if you drilled a hole for the hose pipe!
