Last Thursday...

You lot are nutters!

We thought we were a bit wonky in the noggin but you lot ate the biscuit!

Big thanks to everyone who came down to our gig and went suitably mental last Thursday at the Dublin Castle. We had a great time with you lot and our mates 7 Seconds of Love, who played a storming set right after ours. If you've not checked them out, you can find out more about them at http://www.7secondsoflove.com/

Our next gig is on 4th November 2005 at ULU - details to come soon. You can also check us out at MySpace at http://www.myspace.com/youthofbritain and if you haven't done already, why not visit our forum at http://yob.8.forumer.com/ it's getting crowded in there!

Love and kisses,

Fazza

It's been a hard day in the office...

YOB in going into the studio shock!!

In order to get over the shock of actually recording some stuff in a proper studio and not the YOB grotto - we've decided to celebrate by doing a gig on the 13th October 2005 at Dublin Castle, Camden. We'll be onstage 9.30pm ish and you'll be able to bask in the radient glow of our new lilly white studio tans!

So slap on the factor 20 and get your arses down there!

Cheers,

Fazza

It's not all work, work, work...

Oi Oi!

While you lot were all lazying around on a Sunday afternoon, we were on our way back from the In The City Music conference up in Manchester, on route to our gig Upstairs at the Garage. Little did we know that we were also on Mark Sutherland and Julie Cullen's fine radio show The Music Week on Radio 6. We've done a little edit of it and stuck it on the site (which is probably not allowed, but we're not leaving it up for long law fans) which you can find here http://www.youthofbritain.com/minimp3/radio6.mp3 or you can listen to the whole show at http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/shows/music_week/

To cut a long story short, you can hear our highest profile new fan - none other than music industry legend Anthony Wilson - talking about us before he saw us live. Given that he was wearing a YOB T-shirt over his suit and applauding loudly whilst watching us on Saturday, we think it's safe to say he liked what he saw!

It's back to the grindstone for us so, we'll check you later - Oh, and if you've not checked out our forum yet, give it a look here http://yob.8.forumer.com/index.php and tell us what you think of this nonsense. If you're lucky, we might stop it!

Cheers,
Fazza

Well....Didn't we 'ave a lovely time....;

The day we went to Manchester?

Yes actually we did.

Thanks for everyone's support on Saturday at Squares the gig was fun Fazza's chats with Tricky (Yes that Tricky) was fun, the aftershow party was fun and coming back to an apreciative audience Upstairs @ the Garage the next day was fun too. We had so much fun we have had to lie down for a couple of hours to stop us fainting!!! or er...farting in Ian's case he gets excited in a perculiarly different way to the rest of us but that's drummers for you eh?
